Zentangle

I have been "zentangling " lately.  Zentangle is considered a meditative art form.  In the days when a person's phone was connected to the wall, you would "doodle" on a piece of paper while you were talking to the other person.  Well this "doodling" is similar to "zentangling."  In fact, you start with a pencil doodle and fill-in the doodle with small repetitive strokes in ink.  These patterns you create are called "tangles."
Drawing the repetitive lines have a way of creating calm along with your own small piece of abstract art.

I thoroughly enjoyed creating my first Zentangle rug "My Zen 1"
